Bathroom 3 | Stanford in the Vale
‘A captivating ensuite displaying a host of character features’
A striking traditionally styled bathroom in a beautiful character home set in the quiet village of Stanford in the Vale, Oxfordshire.
CBKI have been commissioned to completely refurbish two en-suite shower rooms and two bathrooms located over three floors. The photos show the fourth of these completed. Original style musette cream wall tiles have been fitted throughout bordered by a high level picture rail. The floral inspired patten portrays a more traditional appearance that is moderated by the simple two tone grey and cream colouring. The wood effect plank tiles continue the authentic appearance, yet provide a practical solution for an ensuite bath and shower room.
Lots of natural lighting and sunshine from the beautiful sash window splays across the room introducing colour depth and warmth to the refurbished space.
A Crosswater 25mm low profile shower tray with an overall dimension 900mm x 1400mm provides ample space to shower comfortably. The Crosswater Svelte sliding door shower cubicle is a high quality offering that will provide years of service with an easy open and close movement. The shower mixer is a Crosswater Belgravia, a perfect compliment to the traditional theme with its pan rain head and handset with inset ivory wrap. The cubicle occupies a perfect corner position alongside the window and adjacent to a Crosswater glide wall hung basin with glass top and high neck Belgravia tap.
The toilet pan and cistern are a close coupled system from the Duravit range. The bath is from the crosswater offerings and is fitted with a Belgravia bath mixer.
Two chrome ladder towel rails, a Crosswater illuminated over basin mirror, and inset ceiling downlighting add the final touches to this luxury bathroom.
CBKI’s decorators completed the refurbishment, repainting the skirting and surround mouldings, door and window frames, and a brilliant white ceiling framed with coving mouldings and inset grey wall panels over the picture rail.
All of the trade activities were coordinated by the Installation Manager to ensure that each stage of the refurbishment happened in a timely manner to expedite completion of the refurbishment project.
CBKI’s Installation Manager advised our client throughout the design, planning and installation to ensure that their expectations were fully realised.
