‘Holiday Let’ Accommodation with a Docklands feature brick-slip wall
Contemporary brand new ‘Holiday Let’ Guest Accommodation with a Docklands feature brick-slip wall and ultra-modern en-suite shower room on the ground floor of a beautiful Coach House near the internationally renowned Bicester Village Designer Retail Outlet in Oxfordshire
CBKI were commissioned to transform a largely unused ground floor space to create a visually interesting and relaxing space for guests visiting the nearby Bicester Village to unwind after a busy day shopping, searching out the best designer clothing and accessory bargains!
The photos portray a large guest bedroom and en-suite facility integrated within what was essentially a large under stairs store room.
CBKI were tasked to create an industrial style feature wall against where the bedheadboard would sit. We suggested the Docklands Red Multi Brick Slip to our client and obtained samples for approval. The client was delighted with our suggestion and instructed us to proceed.
The photos show the finished brick slip wall expertly pointed using a light grey gun injected mortar. The client is absolutely delighted with the appearance and plans to recreate this look in other rooms.
The en-suite shower room has a modern contemporary black theme throughout to present a visually interesting and different guest expectation. The close coupled space saver Vidaxl Black Ceramic W.C and Italian design Cubo2 Wall Hung Square Ceramic Black Basin compliment each other. We selected the
Floors to Walls company to provide the Black Sparkle shower wall panelling for the shower cubicle as this meant no joints other than the usual vertical translucent sealant bead in the corners, meaning this would be an easy clean solution for the housekeeping team.
A Black Starlight Quartz tile frames the Cubo2 black wash hand basin, and forms the internal window sill reveal.
The Provo Black Thermostatic Shower Tower Panel was provided by Better Bathrooms. A Taozun Stainless Steel Self Adhesive Shower Shelf Caddy, and Mrs Hinch Inspired Reusable Black 500ml Pump Bottles – Toiletries, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Bathroom Accessories completes the look of the shower bay.
And finally a Quartz Pro PU sand vinyl floor covering went down and the guest room was open for business! Guest feedback has been remarkable.
